About
Agronomy Bachelor (UÉvora), Engineering Agronomy Master (ISA – ULisboa) and Precision Agriculture Technologies Master finalist (UÉvora/UnovaLisboa).
His interests focus on agricultural history and policy, soil fertility and Mediterranean crops (cork oak, strawberry tree, pastures and legumes). He was a research fellow for the Go–Fósforo (MED-UÉvora), DRESIL (CEF-ISA-ULisboa) and FWUME (CEF-ISA-ULisboa) projects and collaborated on the REMAS-SUDOE (CEABN-ISA-ULisboa) project. He currently works as a senior soil technician at MED (UÉvora), through the Montados-Net-Zero project, dividing his time between field work, laboratory and knowledge sharing sessions. At the same time, he is managing family properties in Serra do Caldeirão and Barrocal Algarvio, where he has installed tests on: Agriculture (horticultural associations), Viticulture, Forestry and Soil Fertility (post-fire recovery and mycorrhizae in species with economic interest) and carob trees.
In collaboration, he won the Compromiso Medioambiental award with a paper at the VII Seminario Ibérico de investigación en Juventud (Badajoz, 2024).
