About
Dr Esther. Menéndez is developing and leading a research line based on generating knowledge on how microbiomes change depending on the agronomic practices and how native microbiomes can be translated for increasing crop production in non-healthy cropping systems. Additionally, she is interested in several related topics such as i) diversity, systematics and taxonomy of soil and plant-associated bacteria and ii) Plant-bacteria mutualistic/symbiotic interactions, amongst others.
