Master in Conservation Biology from the University of Évora, since 2006 he has worked on the study of the ecology and conservation of several species in Portugal, namely reptiles and amphibians. During his dissertation he studied the conservation status of Mediterranean Temporary Ponds and amphibian populations in the Alentejo region. Its main interest lies in identifying and photographing all of Portugal's biodiversity. He participated in several conservation projects such as LIFE Charcos and LIFE LINES, where he performed several tasks, including sampling target species, planning measures to be implemented and raising awareness among the population through lectures and field trips. He is one of the members of the HerpEbora group, whose objective is to learn about and publicize the herpetofauna of the Évora district. He is currently part of the team at the Nature Conservation and Environmental Education Sector of the Municipality of Lousada, being responsible for inventorying vertebrate fauna and flora, preparing management plans for protected areas and participating in the promotion of awareness-raising activities.
