Born in Peniche (Portugal), where I still live, made the graduation in Geography and Regional Planning (FCSH/UNL), followed by a master in Urban and Regional Planning (UTL). Had a few experiences as teacher and was also engaged to a local development association for more than 10 years, in which coordinated several regional, national and transnational projects of entrepreneurship promotion and of social integration. Afterwards, I had a role in the industrial sector as production manager. At the moment I am Ph.D. student in the Program of Agri-business and Sustainability (U. Évora / UTAD), with a research project focused on the issues of local and sustainable agri-food systems and their articulation with local communities and landscape. Interested in the subject of agroecology under its practice, movement and science focuses, as well as a willingness to contribute to innovative governance solutions for social-ecological territorial organization.
