She has a degree in Biology and a Master's in Conservation Biology from the University of Évora. In her master's thesis, she studied the barrier effect of roads on micromammals. In her first job, she took part in the monitoring plan for the Cabrera rat as part of constructing a road in Baixo Alentejo. For the next seven years, she worked as a technician on a project related to the ecological rehabilitation of quarries (SECIL-Outão and SECIL Maceira/Pataias). Throughout these years, as well as taking part in various wildlife inventories, she implemented various environmental education and dissemination activities (aimed at several age groups), and collaborated in drawing up technical reports. She also had the opportunity to take part in the organisation of an international conference and to produce and review promotional content. Between 2019 and the beginning of 2021, she was part of the LIFE LINES project team (LIFE14 NAT/PT/001081) as a science and technology management scholarship holder. In this project, she took part in the production and dissemination of content, as well as supporting activities to disseminate the project's results. Since February 2021, she has been a member of the MED's Technological Dissemination and Innovation Unit team (UDIT-MED) as a senior technician at the University of Évora. At UDIT she has carried out various dissemination and communication activities relating to the R&D unit. She produces content for the MED's social networks and website. She supports the organisation of events and various activities developed by the MED.
