Flávio Daniel Gomes da Silva completed his Master's degree in Zootechnical Engineering in 2016 at the University of Évora - School of Science and Technology and his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Technology in 2013 at the same institution. He is a PhD student in Animal Science at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) - School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences since 2020/10. He is a Researcher at CECAV - Animal and Veterinary Research Centre (UTAD) and a Researcher at MED - Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development (University of Évora) as a PhD student, Guest Assistant at the Department of Zootechnics at the University of Évora since 2021 and Translator of the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP) Newsletter into Portuguese at the Portuguese Association of Zootechnical Engineering (APEZ). He was the technical manager of the University of Évora's experimental dairy farm at Z.E.A. - Sociedade Agrícola, Unipessoal Lda, from 2019 to 2023.
