About
My major interest is to study and characterize plant-parasitic nematodes are economically important pests of Mediterranean crops, with emphasis on i) the integrative diagnosis; ii) molecular systematics and evolution; iii) plant-pathogen interactions; iv) the molecular genetic diversity and genome sequencing, and v) the endosymbionts of plant parasitic nematodes. My aim is to develop methodologies and strategies for effective plant parasitic nematode control with a minimal negative impact on the environment.
