Mauro Raposo holds a PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and a Master's in Landscape Architecture from the University of Évora. It belongs, as an integrated member, to the Institute of Earth Sciences (ICT) and collaborates with the Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development (MED). He was part of the review team for the PROF (Programa Regional de Ordenamento Florestal) for Alentejo and Lisbon and Tagus Valley. He collaborated as a technician in the PIAAC-AC (Intermunicipal Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change in Central Alentejo). Member of the technical team that carried out the Red List of the Vascular Flora of Mainland Portugal. As a result of his work, he has published several scientific articles in international journals and presented his studies at national and international events related to nature management and conservation, namely in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Andorra, Algeria and Cape Verde. He is currently developing projects related to nature conservation.
