About
Maria Dulce Carlos Antunes received her B.Sc. in Agronomy from Evora University, the M.Sc. in from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, Greece and Ph.D. from the University of Algarve, Portugal. She has published more than 100 papers in scientific journals and international conferences. She is a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bio-engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology in the Algarve University teaching postharvest and vegetable crops science. Her research expertise is in the area of postharvest of horticultural crops. Presently is head of the Post-harvest Laboratory, coordinating research projects on Postharvest science and technology of horticultural crops.
