NEGHTRA Project promotes the first training of students and farmers
Between the 18th and 20th of May, the meeting of NEGHTRA Project – Next Generation Training on Intelligent Greenhouses took place at the University of Almeria, Spain. Within the project’s scope, the first training mobility was carried out for students and farmers, and the partners had internal meetings to outline future strategies.
The meeting also included technical visits to the greenhouse experimentation center at the University of Almeria, a private Experimentation and Development Center (CED), and a company dedicated to plant production (nursery).
The University of Évora, as a partner in the project, was represented by researchers and the project coordinator at the institution, Fátima Baptista, researcher at MED and professor in the Department of Rural Engineering at University of Évora.
