MED Researchers among the “World’s Top 2% Scientist’s list”
Teresa Pinto Correia, Miguel Bastos Araújo, Manuel Mota (University of Évora), Maria Dulce Antunes, Maria Graça Miguel e Bruno Medronho (University of Algarve) are the MED researchers on the list of most cited researchers worldwide.
The ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists List’ is a list compiled by researchers at Stanford University in the United States, in collaboration with the publisher Elsevier and the citation database Scopus. This list identifies the most influential scientists in various fields of knowledge based on citation metrics, using a standardised approach to rank researchers.
The report presents two lists, one that honours the best performing researchers, taking into account the influence and impact they have achieved in their field over the course of their career (which includes Maria Graça Miguel, Miguel B. Araújo and Teresa Pinto Correia), and another that honours the most relevant researchers from the previous year, in this case 2023 (which includes Bruno Medronho, Maria Dulce Antunes, Maria Graça Miguel, Manuel Mota and Miguel Araújo).
The main criteria used to select the scientists can be found HERE.
