The CC of the Alentejano Pig and the Montado (Quercus forest) mission is to bring together the different players related to the Alentejano Pig chain, to stimulate applied research, experimentation and innovation in terms of pig production, and processing and marketing of products derived from Alentejano pig raised in the Montado. Safeguarding the Montado, as an essential element in the preservation of Nature, in the organization of the national territory and in rural sustainability and also connect economic agents and businesses to international entities that can leverage the national development of the sector in the strategic area.
