MED with five projects approved under ALT2030-2024-34
MED had five projects approved under call ALT2030-2024-34 – Collective Actions – Transfer of scientific and technological knowledge (regional funds), out of the seven it submitted (5 submitted by MED-UÉvora and 2 by MED-CEBAL).
Four of the projects will be coordinated at the University of Évora and one at CEBAL, reflecting the MED’s dynamism and capacity to respond to the challenges of valorising knowledge and innovation in the agri-food sector.
Projects approved at the University of Évora:
- GenProImprove – Melhorar a produção de ruminantes: produção e melhoramento genético, como articular?[Improving ruminant production: production and genetic improvement, how can they be combined?] (IR: Elisa Bettencourt)
- ALTFoodSense – Abordagem tecnológica para avaliação de propriedades sensoriais e nutricionais de alimentos [Technological approach for evaluating the sensory and nutritional properties of food] (IR: Elsa Lamy)
- Oli4ALL – Inovação e Proteção do Olival ao Alcance de Todos [Innovation and Protection of the Olive Grove within Everyone’s Reach] (IR: Maria do Rosário Félix)
- COMPEEC – Compostagem de Excedentes do Setor Agroalimentar: monitorização e controlo do processo e produtos com vista à melhoria da eficiência e sustentabilidade [Composting Surpluses from the Agri-Food Sector: monitoring and control of the process and products with a view to improving efficiency and sustainability] (IR: Vasco Fitas)
Project approved at CEBAL:
- BIOALENTEC – Transferência de conhecimento e tecnologia para uma bioeconomia sustentável, circular e resiliente no Alentejo [Transfer of knowledge and technology for a sustainable, circular and resilient bioeconomy in the Alentejo] (IR: Eliana Jerónimo)
This is another step in the MED’s mission to strengthen the link between science and the territory, promoting sustainable and knowledge-based practices.
